Faction & Division: Covenant, heavy infantry.
Rank: Ultra.
Name: Muran' Purrantee
Race: Sangheili.
Age: 34 Human Years.
Height: 8 feet, 3 inches.
Weight: 437 pounds.
Appearance: A little shorter and lighter than most Sangheili. Muran has thicker scales than most Sangheili. When he joined the Covenant his scales were a very light gray, but now it has strangely became a very dark steel.
Weapons Of Choice: Energy sword and needler.
Strengths: Has a natural ability to find the right path. Very good eyesight.
Weaknesses: Most times he can never really judge if he should take on whatever foes are ahead. And has a bad habit that if he thinks he may take on a force, he may wait until they come there, instead of simply giving up.
Biography: Born on Sangheilios, in a house built on a tree, Muran grew up with not much special happening. Sure he got in a lot of fights, but that was all pretty normal for Sangheili. He usually had an even fight, and tried to have fun with it. He had a poor family, but stayed steady because most of his parents brothers, and fathers, had fought in wars, which they had passed down, generation by generation.
Muran was fine with being poor, but what made him angry was how his older brother at age twenty-five, when Muran was three, was filthy rich from working in a weapon facility, and being able to make over two-hundred plasma rifles a day. But he never shared any of his giant fortune. So one day when he was thirteen, he ran into his older brothers house at night, and stole all his antique tiki's, and other religious items. He then sold them, and ended up making his family fairly wealthy.
Though everything was fine for a few years, when he turned sixteen the tree his house was built on, broke ending up in all his family sustaining major causalities. Though none of them died, then were all cursed with the horrible memory. They all knew it was Muran's brother, but had no proof. And if they explained, they would also be guilty for stealing in the first place. He was filled with anger from then on, until he heard his brother joined the war against the humans. That is when the idea came to him to kill the horrible humans, and get revenge on his brother. He then told his brother he would also join, and rank up faster then him. Proving he was a lot better.
NPC’s:
Major Elite, Wighan' Sabgree: Great at long range combat, though not the best at any other range. He is still powerful when it comes to hand-to-hand combat though. He is always equipped with a needle rifle, and dual-wielded plasma rifle's to try to help him get better at close, and medium range combat.
Major Elite, Ayun' Isviunee: A standerd Sangheili, Ayun never really talks. He is a great mechanic and will usually just sit back and work on some sort of invention, while the rest of the squad talks. His reason for transfer was because after the successful mission of taking the barracks, he was a reward, and a way to help how none of the rest of the squad were good with mechanics. It took about fifteen minutes for two Unggoy's, and a major Sangheili to fix a small radio. It was Ayun's job to help them with this. (Was not in the squad during the RP sample. He got transferred into squad because his old squad was changed in stature, as explained above. You will understand a lot more about his position after reading the RP sample.)
Major Elite, Quen' Yuvanee: Quen is not the best soldier, but will never back down, and will always stand strong. He is usually seen using a needle rifle, and a plasma rifle. He knows of his low skills, as he was notified by when he barely passed training. Though stronger then a Unggoy, he is only a little better than a Major Kig-yar
RP sample: As Muran waded through the field, he noticed some weird birds staring at them from on top of the tree's. Scouts.
"Stop. Wighan, shoot those birds, silently." He said sitting down. "Quen, you and two Unggoy go to the right flank. Me and this one will take the left. Once you finish those birds Wighan, go down the center and radio me when you start taking fire." He ordered, crawling through the high grass.
Their mission was to scout out a human barracks, and kill any units possible. Once that was done he was supposed to radio in to the awaiting spirit, and have it drop off the assault troops.
As he heard Wigham take the shots, he was already half way to the building. He ordered the Unggoy to check if there were any other scouts. His response was; "There were no birds, but I saw something big around the tree's."
"How big, a human, tank, or something else?" Asked Muran, nervous for what the answer may be.
"I don't know master, it was big gray, and looked scary." Was the reply of the shaky Unggoy.
"Humph, sounds interesting. But if it is not human we may not worry." Muran slowly said picking himself up to a kneel. He quickly ran forward followed by the Unggoy into the battle field. He then heard Wighan's worried voice over there private comm channel.
"Leader, I am taking fire, there are more humans then I thought, and they have a great wall that must have been constructed after this place was looked at! I have a view abover the wall, but they have many grenades!" The sniper yelled. Muran heard gun-shots and explosions in the background.
"Alright, we will be there shortly. Quen, are you ready..." No response. "Dammit! Well even without them we must still go forward Unggoy." He said as the Unggoy raised his fuel rod cannon. They then rushed forward, making it to Wighan in less then a minute. The wind was light, but it was a very bright day, which resulted in most of Wighan's shots missing. "Now Unggoy, release as many shots as needed to make a hole in that wall. Unggoy's with Quen! If either of you are still alive do the same for your side." He commanded the other Unggoy's. He then ordered Wighan to stop sniping and switch to his plasma rifle's, but this was interrupted by the explosion of plasma.
He looked over at the Unggoy he came here with the soldier was just aiming. He then heard another shot.
"Sir, our master's radio had been shot by a small squad of humans, but it is now fixed." Said the cowardly voice of an Unggoy. Muran sighed, they were alive. He then sat down and waited while he waited for the wall to open up. He then heard Quen's voice over the comm;
"Sir the wall is open, my Unggoy are throwing grenades through the hole. Should we enter?"
"Yes, go in and my Unggoy will meet you in the center of the formation. Me and the other Sangheili will go in, and destroy all resistance. Await further orders from there." Answered Muran, who then told his Unggoy the plan when the wall had broken. He and Wighan then ran through the opening.
There was a group of humans preparing their weapons. Tavise then told Wighan to heavily cover the Unggoy. As they entered, the humans were slow to react. Muran ran up and killed two in the front with his sword.
As the other ones turned he jumped away, Muran rushed forward and fired his needler. Four of the seven had already died, and two were then finished off by Wighan. "Wait, keep this one." Muran told the two Covenant soldiers, grabbing the reamaining human. "You two go help Quen, while I talk to this soldier.
As Wighan and the Unggoy went to help Quen, Muran found a small dark building. As he tossed the human in, he heard the battle far away.
"Now human, how many of you are left?" Muran asked, preparing his energy knife.
"I'm not telling you I am a toilet." The man yelled back, as he fumbled for his gun. Muran then ran up and grabbed the weapon. When the man tried to fight back he punched him in the face.
"Stop your foolishness! Now, tell me!" Muran yelled, throwing the man to the side.
"You got about a quarter of us!" The human screamed in fear. "There is no intel in the barracks!" He continued, putting his hand on his helmet.
"Good, but now your time must end." Muran muttered. As the human lowered his arm, Muran lunged. He stabbed his sword through the man's chest. He then heard the voice of Quen on the COMM's.
"Leader, the front lines are secure, we see a few humans fleeing. Should we go after them?" He asked.
"No, we will leave them for the main infantry. Our job is done here." Muran answered, running back out into the field. He spotted his squad on the other side, they looked in good condition. The humans didn't put a real fight.
While the rest Muran's squad ran up to the spirit, Muran told the pilot about the human, and the battle. The pilot then congratulated them on their success as the other infantry was dropped off, and sent over to look for any remaining humans, and Intel.
As they boarded the spirit he looked around at the rest of his squad. They were all still in great condition. Though the Unggoy's had a few bullet wounds, and the other two Sangheili's armour had been damaged, and his own almost destroyed. They still had had a great, successful mission. They were the underdogs.
