Name: Give your ship a name. Human ships tend to vary between called avant-garde things such as "Pillar of Autumn" and "Forward Unto Dawn" and more concise military names as used in real navies, while Covenant ships tend to have a more, fanatical/religious sounding name, such as "Shadow of Intent". Please make it believeable and not something like "UNSCS Fuckwit" or something like that. Contrary to strict canon, the prefix for a human ship is 'UNSCS' - the second 's' standing for Ship, like in every real navy. The UNSC is the overall organisation, not the prefix. As for the Covenant names, use 'CNV' (Covenant Naval Vessel) as the prefix, that way we don't get people using 'CCS' and confusing everyone with cruiser classes.
Registration: This is the Number your ship uses. For example a Frigate could use "FFG - 234". This is a UNSC-only field.
Motto: Does your ship have a motto or a slogan? If so, post one. Try and use something whitty like "Fortune Favours The Bold" or something like that...the Covenant, not being humans culturally, do not have this, this is a UNSC-only field.
Class: What type of ship is it. Is it a Frigate? Marathon Class? Assault Carrier? Tell us here.
MOS: Military Occupational Specialty denotes what your Ship does within the fleet. Is it a Transport ship? Does it focus on Boarding enemy ships? Is it a Destroyer? Is it a Command Ship? You get the idea...
Commanding Officer: The name of the ship's CO, der... Make sure you put in Appearances and a short bio a la Character Creation thread.
Ship AI: The name of the ship's AI. Make it sensible please. Covenant vessels do not carry AIs, so this is a UNSC-only field.
Crew Patch/Badge: Basically the badge/patch worn by the members of the crew on your ship. Look at the In Amber Clad patch on Halopedia for refrence. The Covenant do NOT use Patches/Badges, but may use a symbol to identify with their vessel, this field is optional for Covenant ships.
Physical Description: Does your ship have any particular markings or paint. Have you painted a skull on the side of your Longsword for every Seraph you've shot down? Be creative but try to stay realistic...
Biography: This can be as detailed as you like. At least 6 sentences please. Tell us of the ship's previous captains and prior engagements and how it survived or, if its a new ship, detail the reason for its production and what it is setting out to do.
Loadout: Loadout for each class of ship is detailed on Halopedia. All ships will have their default loadout but this is just for refrence.
Affiliation: Obviously, this is either UNSC or Covenant.
Battlegroup: This can be the Battlegroup the ship was assigned to before being assigned to this mission. For example you could of been part of the 7th Home Fleet protecting Earth or something like that.
Crew: Give a list of the Name, Rank and Position that person occupies here. Only include important NPCs such as Nav Officer, Pilot, Gunner and so on. NPCs who you will constantly refer to in the RP. Also include any players who are serving on your ship or in your Squadron. When assigning positions on UNSC ships use current Navies as your guideline - if assigning positions on a Covenant ship the formula for naming bridge/senior officer positions is simple, it's Master of X (where X is the department) i.e. Master of Communications would be a Comms Officer on a UNSC vessel.
RP Sample: Same as for the character sheet, just give an appropriate length example for how you will roleplay with your ship. This only applies if you have not made a seperate character application for your ship's commanding officer, and follows the same character level standards.
